readlink

(PHP 3, PHP 4 )

readlink -- Returns the target of a symbolic link

Description

string readlink (string path)

Readlink() does the same as the readlink C function and returns the contents of the symbolic link path or 0 in case of error.

See also symlink(), readlink() and linkinfo().

Note: This function does not work on Windows systems
